Musician Bio
Jordan Curry was raised in West Olive, Michigan and began playing violin at the age of six using the Suzuki method. He continued to play violin and study music throughout his formative years, participating in the Illinois Chamber Music Festival, Michigan All-State Orchestra, and Holland Area Youth Orchestra.
Jordan received his bachelor’s degree in violin performance from Western Michigan University and his master’s degree from the University of Denver. Jordan received his Artist Diploma from the University of Cincinnati and was a graduate assistant of former Cincinnati Symphony concertmaster, Timothy Lees.
He is now the Adjunct Professor of Violin at Butler University in Indianapolis Indiana as well as a teaching artist at the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra.
