Ticketing system for Kroger Symphony on the Prairie events

All patrons must purchase date-specific tickets via the ISO website. Once purchased, your date-specific tickets will be available in your ISO account. Every attendee age 3 and over must have a ticket to enter each performance (child tickets are available for ages 3-12). Children 2 and under are free. To assure the safety of everyone present for each event, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will issue a maximum of 8,000 date-specific tickets to Kroger Symphony on the Prairie events. Table rentals, reserved seating, and tickets for the Huntington Bank Sunset Lounge are available online, and prices for lawn tickets and tables are subject to change.

What happens if I’ve lost or forgotten my tickets?

Reprint your ticket at home or access your mobile ticket at any time by logging into your ISO account. You may also wish to take a screenshot of your mobile ticket to access it quickly at Conner Prairie. For assistance accessing your account, call the ISO Box Office at 317-639-4300.

Can I purchase tickets at Conner Prairie?

Once at Conner Prairie, if concert tickets are still available for that evening, new tickets may be purchased online through the ISO’s website or through the remote box office. Additional fees may apply. The box office at Conner Prairie will open 2.5 hours before the concert.

Can I buy Group Tickets and reserve a place on the lawn for my group?

Groups of 30 or more may purchase discounted tickets to Kroger Symphony on the Prairie at a 10% discount. In 2023, group spaces at the Conner Prairie Symphony Bowl will not be reserved by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra. Personal ropes, ribbons, string, etc. may not be used to mark off a group space. To order group tickets, please call the ISO Box Office at 317-639-4300.

Are lawn tickets reserved?

The lawn is general admission and not reserved by section or seat. You may wish to bring a tarp if it has been raining.

Can I purchase Symphony on the Prairie tickets at Kroger?

Yes! Tickets purchased at a Kroger location have a “best-price guarantee.” To receive a Kroger ticket discount, scan the QR code at a Central Indiana Kroger location to purchase day-specific tickets through the ISO’s website.

What if I can’t attend the concert and need to exchange my ticket to another show?

Email iso@IndianapolisSymphony.org before the concert start time that day and ask to exchange your ticket (including Reserved Parking) to another Kroger Symphony on the Prairie show in 2023. Exchanging your table or Sunset Lounge to another concert depends on availability at that concert. If there is a price difference between the two concerts, you will receive credit back on your ISO account for the current season or you will need to pay the difference. Your email must be sent before the concert starts. You may not hear from the Box Office immediately, but they will assist you with your exchange. The Box Office at Conner Prairie also opens 2.5 hours before the start of the concert, so you may also exchange your ticket in person.

Is there a multi-ticket discount?

Purchase general admission lawn tickets to three or more different Kroger Symphony on the Prairie concerts and receive 10% off your final purchase amount when you purchase at the ISO box office or on the ISO’s website. Cannot be combined with other offers, including the “best-price guarantee” using the exclusive Kroger ticket discount.

What is included with a Huntington Bank Sunset Lounge ticket?

Upgrade your evening at Conner Prairie with the ultimate VIP experience at the Huntington Bank Sunset Lounge—an exclusive covered area with private restrooms, a private bar, special parking access, and provided seating. Enjoy the concert with a great view from the top of the hill!

How many seats are at a table?

Ten chairs are provided at each table. Each guest at the table must also purchase a general admission date-specific lawn ticket. The table rental price does not include admission to the venue.

How will I know if the show is canceled?

Concert cancellations due to weather are reported via the ISO’s Facebook page, and Twitter feed. “Like” the ISO on Facebook and follow @Indy_Symphony on Twitter and Instagram for up-to-date concert information.

What happens if it rains?

Bring your rain gear! The ISO and its guest artists make every attempt to perform, even in rainy weather.

In the event of severe weather that might cancel a concert, raincheck tickets/vouchers will no longer be used. Instead, the amount you paid for your ticket, table, or reserved parking will automatically be returned to your ISO account via a gift certificate.

  • How to redeem a gift certificate:
    • Visit indianapolissymphony.org and sign into your account.
    • Choose the performance(s) you wish to attend, add the tickets to your “cart,” and head to the checkout.
    • At the checkout, enter your gift certificate number to use those funds.
    • The ISO Box Office will be available but is likely to be difficult to reach. You can call the ISO Box Office at 317-639-4300

If a Kroger Symphony on the Prairie concert is canceled, the amount you paid for your ticket, table, reserved seating, Huntington Bank Sunset Lounge, or reserved parking will be automatically placed on a gift certificate and emailed to you. The gift certificate can be used for a future summer performance or any table, reserved seating, reserved parking, or Huntington Bank Sunset Lounge purchase at Kroger Symphony on the Prairie. Call the Box Office at 317-639-4300 for information about refunds, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

*Gift certificate funds expire 5 years from the issue date, and will be issued when a concert is canceled with less than one hour of performance time. If the performance time runs for a total of at least one hour, gift certificates or refunds will not be issued.

Visit the ISO’s Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter page for active weather updates each night.

How much is parking?

Free parking is available, however, Reserved Parking—providing easy-access parking for a regular-sized car—is available for individual concerts for $40. Oversized vehicles (determined at the exclusive discretion of the parking operator) will be charged $80.

Is accessible parking available?

Accessible parking is available with golf cart transportation to and from the gates. Unfortunately, the golf carts are not allowed to transport any further than the perimeter gates. If further accessibility assistance is required to navigate the grounds a wheelchair can be requested.

Bring a wagon or a rolling cooler. If neither is available, the Boy Scouts have wagons to help you move things from your car pre-concert.

Can I rent the facilities?

For larger groups requiring a private area, call Conner Prairie to rent one of three picnic pavilions. The sales and catering team will help secure the right pavilion for your group size and coordinate meal and beverage servicing. Contact Conner Prairie at 317-214-4495 for details. Pavilion rentals require catering from Conner Prairie.

What should I bring?

Feel free to bring your own food, drink (including alcoholic beverages), lawn chairs, and blankets. Food vendors are on site and concessions are sold at all concerts, including beer and wine (with valid ID). Trash and recycling stations are available on the grounds.

Guests at the reserved tables and reserved seating will have bartenders taking orders at your table and mobile ordering available for items from the bar.

Here are some other recommendations from fans:

  • Bring a chair or picnic blanket.
  • Bring a wagon or a rolling cooler. If neither is available, the Boy Scouts have wagons to help you move things from your car pre-concert.
  • Picnic-style foods are the best kind! Some suggestions are: wine, cheese, crackers, baguettes, frozen grapes, croissants, etc.
  • Bring a vinyl tablecloth to place under the blanket you’re sitting on to eliminate dampness. It can also double as a cover for any unexpected rain.
  • Have trash bags ready for when you’ve finished eating, and bring a flashlight in case it’s too dark to check the area where you’re sitting.

What can’t I bring?

We do not allow large tables, tents, canopies, pets, hammocks, grills, tiki torches, sparklers, drones, firearms, weapons, fireworks, illegal drugs, controlled substances, cameras, recording devices, laser pointers, strobe lights, or irritants (e.g. artificial noisemakers) onto the premises. Large umbrellas may be prohibited. Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaporizers, permitted in designated areas only. Violation of these prohibited item guidelines may result in loss of access to the facility for the rest of the season.

Thank you for your cooperation and please be sure to enjoy your summer at Kroger Symphony on the Prairie. Please check back often for updates and additional information.
