Gala Details
Maestro Jun Märkl leads the ISO in Beethoven’s Fifth Piano Concerto, the “Emperor,” in a powerful musical centerpiece for Gala: OPUS 2026. World-renowned pianist Denis Kozhukhin brings his admired interpretation of Beethoven to the ISO stage. Beethoven’s “Emperor” Concerto embodies strength, confidence, radiance, and grace—music that rises above conflict to affirm the power and illumination of leadership through character, vision, and the enduring human spirit. The program also includes selections from Tchaikovsky’s beloved Swan Lake.
