Indianapolis Ballet and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra present the final collaboration of the 2026–27 season with Ballets Russes, an exhilarating celebration of the groundbreaking works and artistic legacy that transformed the world of dance. Highlighted by the company premiere of Matthew Neenan’s The Firebird and George Balanchine’s Raymonda Variations, this spectacular program combines powerful choreography and live orchestral music for an unforgettable finale inspired by one of ballet’s most influential eras. Highly acclaimed ISO Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly leads the orchestra through Stravinsky’s timeless work of good versus evil. Copland’s Rodeo and Glazunov’s Raymonda Variations round out the exploration of Ballets Russes’ tremendous influence on the genre.
