The Garden Symphony is the story of a ladybug’s search through the garden for her own special song. Young children are invited to move along to music, listen to a story, and watch five musicians from the ISO perform. The Garden Symphony introduces the oboe, violin, clarinet, cello, and a surprise instrument! These five instruments are part of the string and woodwind sections of the symphony orchestra. Musical selections include excerpts from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee, Handel’s Harp Concerto, and Pachelbel’s Canon.
