Enjoy a musical journey as former ISO Music Director Mario Venzago returns to conduct the music of Robert Schumann. The stellar musicians of the ISO invite you to explore the Rhinelands in Schumann’s 3rd Symphony. Violinist Karen Gomyo, whom the Chicago Tribune describes as “a first-rate artist of real musical command, vitality, brilliance and intensity,” performs Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1.
