A native of Ashland, Oregon, Alison Dresser received her bachelor’s degree from the Northwestern University Bienen School of Music, studying with Gail Williams and Jonathan Boen. She went on to attend the Curtis Institute of Music, where her teachers were Jennifer Montone and Jeff Lang. Alison has performed with such groups as the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Atlanta Symphony, and the Oregon Symphony. She also enjoys playing with the Grand Teton Music Festival during the summer. When not playing horn, you can find Alison climbing, running, traveling with her partner, Jake, and playing with her dog, Cheerio.
