See the full season lineup here.

The 202223 DeHaan Classical Series offers a powerful repertoire as the ISO explores the influence of literature on classical music, including a celebration of William Shakespeare in the season finale. Classical music lovers will be thrilled with the season’s opening concert featuring Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition and Brahms’ Double Concerto highlighting the talents of ISO Concertmaster Kevin Lin and Principal Cellist Austin Huntington as soloists. The ISO will conclude the Beethoven 2020 Celebration featuring the renowned composer’s Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Symphonies. In his second season as the ISO’s artistic advisor, Jun Märkl will conduct two of the sixteen subscription programs in the DeHaan Classical Series.

The 2022–23 Printing Partners Pops Series includes a patriotic Veterans Day Tribute with the U.S. Naval Academy Glee Clubs, The Doo Wop Project, A Tribute to Aretha Franklin, and much more. Just in time for Halloween, the Bank of America Film Series features the Indianapolis premiere of Disney’s Hocus Pocus in Concert in October. The AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration welcomes back host Frankie Moreno for the 36th anniversary December 2–23, 2022. Moreno is a five-time winner of Vegas Headliner of the Year and first hosted AES Indiana Yuletide Celebration in 2019.

Conductor and composer Steve Hackman returns in 2022–23 to bring his visionary Uncharted Series to Hilbert Circle Theatre following the acclaimed premiere of his work, Resurrection Mixtape, in March 2022. The Uncharted Series offers Indianapolis fans new avenues into classical music, with Tchaikovsky v. Drake October 19; Beethoven v. Coldplay January 25 and, back by popular demand, Resurrection Mixtape April 12.

DeHaan Classical Series highlights
