Renowned organ virtuoso Paul Jacobs, on the Hilbert Circle Theatre’s Mighty Wurlitzer, joins Jun Märkl for Poulenc’s haunting Organ Concerto and Handel’s charming Cuckoo and the Nightingale. Spotlight composer Kenji Bunch joins with a newly commissioned work. Respighi’s majestic Pines of Rome brings the evening to a resplendent close.
