Join ISO Music Director Jun Märkl and violin virtuoso Augustin Hadelich for a voyage through Bohemia, featuring Brahms’ Violin Concerto, a piece known for its heartfelt lyricism and dazzling technical fireworks—ideally suited to Hadelich’s expressive, award-winning artistry. The program also includes Brahms’ beloved Hungarian Dance No. 5, Smetana’s “Dance of the Comedians”, and the spirited Dances of Galánta by Kodály, bringing the evening to life with folkloric energy and vibrant orchestral color.
