The Performance
Join the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and dozens of performing arts partners for this exciting event on Monument Circle! Designed to celebrate the connections we make through the shared love of music and performance, the ISO has partnered with Downtown Indy, Inc. to offer a free day of live music, food trucks, and networking with community organizations. The event takes place outdoors on Monument Circle starting at 1 p.m., but also continues inside Hilbert Circle Theatre. The day concludes with a livestream at 5:30 p.m. of the ISO performing Märkl Conducts Strauss, conducted by Music Director Jun Märkl, broadcast on the large screen outside.

*The Teddy Bear Concert Series is designed specifically for children ages 3-7, introducing them to the instruments of the orchestra through storytelling, movement, and live music. Join musicians from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and a narrator as they introduce instruments from the symphony orchestra through five different original stories written by ISO violinist Victoria Kintner Griswold. Young children will have the opportunity to move with the music and interact with ISO musicians at this 30-minute program! After each concert, families can go upstairs to the Wood Room for an instrument petting zoo!
