Join ISO Music Director Jun Märkl and violin virtuoso Augustin Hadelich for a voyage through Bohemia at the ISO Gala endowed by Christel DeHaan featuring Brahms’ captivating Violin Concerto. Known for its blend of warmth and fiery technical demands, this masterpiece showcases Hadelich’s expressive artistry and is the perfect season opener. Paired with the lively Hungarian Dance No. 5, this celebratory evening also features Smetana’s exuberant “Dance of the Comedians” and the folkloric charm of Kodály’s “Dances of Galánta.”
