Vivaldi­’s Four Seasons­ Redisco­vered

The Performance

Celebrating 300 years of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, conductor/harpsichordist Jeannette Sorrell and violinist Francisco Fullana dig deep into this timeless work. Each movement captures the essence of nature’s cycle with vibrancy and virtuosity. Sorrell brings these beloved seasonal portraits to life with a historical approach to performance with a multi-media presentation and commentary. Projection Design is created by Camilla Tassi. Explore baroque treasures with Marais’ Suite from Alcyone and Sorrell’s own spirited arrangement of Uccellini’s La Bergamasca.  
 
**The October 30, 7:30 p.m. performance will be offered at the Palladium Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets for this performance are not included in subscription packages and must be purchased through the Palladium. All other performances will be held at Hilbert Circle Theatre and are included in subscription packages. Friday night classical subscribers may switch into the Saturday or Sunday concerts.
