The Big Note is the story of a young boy’s search through a symphony orchestra to find a big note he hears at a concert. The Big Note introduces the flute, violin, viola, bassoon, and a surprise instrument! These five instruments are part of the string, woodwind, and brass sections of the symphony orchestra. Musical selections include excerpts from Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee, Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Grieg’s Peer Gynt Suite, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 – Ode to Joy
