Exchange Policy

Lilly Classical Series, Printing Partners Pops Series, Coffee Classical Series, and Coffee Pops Series subscribers may exchange their tickets for any other subscription concert at the Hilbert Circle Theatre, subject to availability. Exchanges are not valid for symFUNy Sundays subscribers.

Tickets exchanged the day of the scheduled performance will incur a $10 per ticket exchange fee. This fee is waived if the exchange is made at least one day prior to the originally scheduled performance or the exchange is to a different day of the same performance.

Subscribers who have purchased Your Season~Your Way, Symphony on Demand, or any subscription purchased through the ISO’s telemarketing vendor may exchange their tickets for a $3 fee per exchanged ticket, regardless of the date of exchange. (Note: Symphony on Demand, 4 packs, and triplet subscribers do not pay a fee to redeem their vouchers into their initial concert.)

If any exchange results in a seat of greater value, you will be charged the difference in price, in addition to any applicable fees. Refunds are not available for exchanges into seats of lesser value. Exchanges are not valid for Special Events and Presentations, IPL Yuletide Celebration, Kroger Symphony on the Prairie, Stella Artois Happy Hour at the Symphony or non-ISO events.

Premiere level donors ($1000+ per year) will not incur exchange fees, regardless of exchange date.

All sales are final. There are no refunds. Artists, program and dates subject to change.

Rather than charging fees throughout the entire ticketing process, this one-time fee covers all ticket conveniences.  This ticket fee offsets the delivery of your tickets along with any reprinting and allows you to participate in the ISO’s ticket exchange program.  This program authorizes the exchange of tickets, for any reason, into any other ISO performance of equal or lesser value.  Patrons can exchange into higher priced performances; however they must cover the difference in ticket price.  Ticket exchanges must occur at least 48 hours before your scheduled performance and used towards a performance during the same season.

The ticket fee also helps to cover operating costs for the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, a nonprofit charitable organization.  From maintaining the historic Hilbert Circle Theatre to operating an in house box office, every dollar raised or earned by the ISO goes directly back to fulfilling the mission of the organization; to inspire, entertain, and educate nearly 300,000 patrons each year.

All sales are final. There are no refunds.

All concerts at the Hilbert Circle Theatre occur regardless of weather. Please plan your travel to and from the Hilbert Circle Theatre accordingly. No Refunds.

If you cannot use your tickets, you may also return them to the Box Office as a ticket donation. Tickets must be returned at least one hour prior to the concert. Tickets donated must be tickets that the patron originally purchased from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra through or the ISO Box Office (third parties excluded). Unused tickets may be tax deductible. You will be mailed a receipt.

All Hilbert Circle Theatre ticket sales are final and non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled. Note: Artists, programs, prices and times are subject to change.

To make an exchange or donate your tickets, contact the ISO Box Office at 317.639.4300 or visit us at 45 Monument Circle.
Box Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 10am-5pm and 2 hours before each performance.
