Experience Nosferatu at Hilbert Circle Theatre

This Halloween, join us downtown for a spine-tingling evening of film and live music with a special presentation of Nosferatu on October 31, 2025, at the historic Hilbert Circle Theatre.

Organist Donnie Rankin will perform a live, original soundtrack on the theatre’s Mighty Wurlitzer organ as director F. W. Murnau’s 1922 silent film masterpiece unfolds on screen in all its gothic glory. Presented in collaboration with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Association and the Central Indiana Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society, this one-night-only event promises to both chill and thrill.

Adapted from Bram Stoker’s classic Dracula, Nosferatu tells the haunting story of a young clerk who travels to the remote castle of Count Orlok—an eerie figure with a sinister secret. As the tale unfolds, the young man’s life, marriage, and very soul hang in the balance against the backdrop of this early cinematic horror triumph.

Please note: The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra will not be performing for this event.

Guests are encouraged to embrace the Halloween spirit and experience this unforgettable blend of classic film and live performance. Please, no full-face masks.
