Sibelius Violin Concerto

The violin was Jean Sibelius's first love, and gifted violinist James Ehnes will show off the virtuosity of Sibelius's one and only concerto. Sibelius also influenced the work of English composer William Walton, and the ISO will play for the first time the well-known work that was called "the most significant piece of music Walton has written."
