Grieg Piano Concerto
Horror film fans will delight when they hear Penderecki's Polymorphia from The Exorcist and The Shining. The surreal opening will stand in stark contrast to the cheery Second Symphony by Brahms at the conclusion. Grieg's only concerto, which turned out to be one of his most popular works, will be performed by young prodigy Jan Lisiecki, dubbed by the New York Times as "a pianist who makes every note count."
