Zukerman Leads the ISO
The San Francisco Chronicle describes Israeli violinist Pinchas Zukerman as "a triple threat. His Violin playing is bright and sinuous, his viola playing is rich and soulful, and he conducts with an abundance of spirit." Zukerman will perform and conduct Haydn's delightful Violin Concerto No. 1 in addition to conducting Shubert's Symphony No. 5 with it's fresh, light, and youthful sounds. Overtures from the romantic opera Der Freischütz and the comic opera The Marriage of Figaro round out this vibrant performance.
This season, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra welcomes you to experience our brand new Brunch Series! Enjoy classical repertoire by the ISO on a leisurely Sunday afternoon. Subscription Packages to all three full-length performances are available for $120. Brunch may be added on to any single concert for an additional charge of $30.
Brunch will be served in the Wood Room – mimosas included! Brunch begins at 12:30 p.m. and the performance begins at 2 p.m.
