Symphony In Color Young People's Art Contest For Grades K-6
2008-2009 season information will be available in late Summer 2008.
Symphony In Color is an enrichment program offering a unique blending of two disciplines: symphonic music and visual art. The program culminates in a juried exhibition at the Hilbert Circle Theatre and the Indiana State Museum. One hundred finalists and 36 blue ribbon winners are selected each year and one entry will receive the Pacini Award to be put on display in the Hilbert Circle Theatre for an entire year.
Symphony in Color music selections are selected from the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra concert season repertoire.
Corporate sponsorship provided by AHEPA Chapter 232 Charitable Foundation and Fedex Shipping, with in-kind contributions from Ohmit Recording and Duplicating, Printing Partners, Inc. and The Great Frame-Up.
Symphony In Color is a project of the Junior Group of the Women’s Committee of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
