Monkey's Jungle Jam

Monkey’s Jungle Jam is a story of a monkey’s search through a jungle to find musical friends! Young children are invited to move along to music, listen to a story, and watch eight musicians from the ISO perform. Monkey’s Jungle Jam uses common and unusual animals from the jungle to introduce common and unusual instruments found in a symphony orchestra. Musical selections include excerpts from Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite, Dvorak’s New World Symphony, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, and Saint-Saëns’s Carnival of the Animals. Indiana composer James Beckel composed the Finale!
