The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra relies on private support and volunteers to fund and maintain its extensive array of musical, educational, and community programs. When you support the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, you’re not only making a sound investment in our music, but also in education, the arts, and Indiana’s quality of life.

For nearly 75 years, the Symphony has made a difference to our state through our dedication to live Symphonic music, music education and community outreach. With the support of donors like you, the Symphony has truly become a crown jewel of performing arts for Indiana.

Each season, more than 500,000 audience members attend over 200 Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra concerts performed across Indiana. Ticket sales however, account for just 40% of our $22 million budget. This season we will need to raise over $5 million in contributed income to maintain a balanced budget. It is always a tremendous challenge, and one that can only be achieved through the generous support of our community - and people like you who are passionate about music, education, and their community.
