For the first time in its history, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra has created a residency program tied to an ensemble group rather than an individual artist or composer. As the new ensemble-in-residence for the Indianapolis Symphony, the dynamic string trio Time for Three brings its unique sound and innovative approach to composing and performing music on stage and throughout the community through the 2011-2012 season.

In just their first year with the ISO, Time for Three violinists Nick Kendall and Zach De Pue and double bassist Ranaan Meyer have worked with and inspired student musicians at two local high schools; developed wildly successful programming for the Stella Artois Happy Hour at the Symphony series; and performed in many venues outside of Hilbert Circle Theatre in order to bring new communities to symphonic music.
